Tender Details
The services being purchased through this RFT are for the continued operation of existing Rural Residential Adolescent Alcohol and Other Drug Rehabilitation Programs in Dubbo and Coffs Harbour. The programs are to be provided in the premises currently being used for this purpose. Each premises has an eight bed capacity.
Agencies may tender for one or both of the locations. Tenders will be assessed separately for each location and there will be a separate agreement for each location.
The target group: young people, who are aged 13-18 years; are clients of Juvenile Justice; have significant AOD and offending issues; who may have a dual diagnosis, be on methadone, buprenorphine and/or other medically supervised medications. The program is expected to accept both male and female clients and the young people may come from anywhere in NSW.
The program needs to provide a stable and secure environment where young people are assisted to manage problematic behaviours; improve their life skills; learn alternative habits to develop personal resilience and confidence; build social networks; and reintegrate into the community.
The X Roads AOD Intervention Program or an equivalent alternative AOD Intervention Program for adolescents is to be implemented as part of the programs being delivered to the young people in residence. The X Roads AOD Intervention Program is a 45 session program. If implementing this program, Juvenile Justice will licence the successful Tenderer(s) to use the program for the term of the Agreements. There will be no charge for the use of the program.

Non mandatory tender briefing sessions will be conducted (one in Dubbo and one in Coffs Harbour) and the opportunity for a site visit to each location will be offered shortly after the RFT opens.
