Sydney Metro West - Financial Structuring Advisor – Invitation for Registration of Interest - SM 2022/007

Sydney Metro invites entities with relevant and proven experience to register their interest to participate in the procurement process for the Sydney Metro West – Financial Structuring Advisor Services. 

Sydney Metro requires a suitably qualified Financial Structuring Advisor to undertake services for the Sydney Metro West project. The services will include the provision of advice on the development, establishment and mobilisation of the Sydney Metro West project model. 

The Financial Structuring Advisor must also have capability to invest institutional equity in Sydney Metro West on market appropriate terms. 

Sydney Metro invites entities with relevant and proven experience to register their interest to this Invitation for Registration of Interest. 

Following this Invitation for Registration of Interest, registrants that Sydney Metro considers are able to perform the services, have investment capability and credibly satisfy the Minimum Eligibility Criteria detailed below will be shortlisted to receive the RFT document upon release. 

Minimum Eligibility Criteria 1 

The Registrant must demonstrate, to Sydney Metro’s satisfaction, that the Registrant has relevant private sector commercial and financial advisor experience in relation to, and has invested equity in, the delivery of transport infrastructure projects where the total project capital expenditure is more than AUD $1billion and involves multiple delivery packages. 

Minimum Eligibility Criteria 2  

The Registrant must demonstrate, to Sydney Metro’s satisfaction, that the Registrant has local resources (indicatively 4 to 6 resources, including at least 2 senior resources) that are available to be embedded on at least a part-time basis in Sydney Metro’s project team. 

Interested parties must complete and submit the attached Confidentiality Deed Poll prior to receiving the Invitation for Registration of Interest document. 

Completed Confidentiality Deed Polls must be sent to the Contact Name via email.

Expression of Interest for Specific Contracts - An invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI) for pre-registration of prospective tenderers for a specific work or service. Applicants are initially evaluated against published selection criteria, and those who best meet the required criteria are invited to Tender (as tender type Pre-Qualified/Invited).

Interested parties must complete and submit the attached Confidentiality Deed Poll prior to receiving the Invitation for Registration of Interest document.
