The NSW Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS) is the lead agency responsible for minimising the potential impact of bush fires on the environment, public and private assets, communities and human life in NSW. In addition to 700+ salaried staff, the NSW RFS coordinates the efforts of 2,100 volunteer rural fire brigades and approximately 70,000 volunteers.
The primary objective of the project is to provide a spatially enabled business solution for a new integrated bush fire risk information management system (now referred to as Guardian)
