Tender Details

The Freshwater vessel is an integral part of Ferry Services between Circular Quay and Manly (Outer Harbour).

The successful Tenderer must have previous experience in similar types of work and be capable of dry-docking a vessel of this size.

In addition, the Tenderer must comply with all relevant Acts and Regulations including, EPA (Environmental Protection Act) and have appropriate Insurances.

Additional Details / Instructions

Vessel Inspection: A Vessel inspection will be held at 9am-11am AEDT, Thursday 25 February 2010 at Balmain Shipyard, 72 Waterview Street, Balmain.

Pre-Tender Briefing: A Pre-Tender Briefing will be held at 10am AEDT, Tuesday 2 March 2010 at Sydney Ferries' Offices, Level 9, 37 Pitt Street, Sydney.

Vessel Inspection and attendance at the Pre-Tender Briefing are mandatory conditions of tender.

In order to access the RFT documentation, proponents will need to enter a password.

The password will only be issued to proponents that meet the following criteria:

Capability of dry-docking a vessel with the following specifications as a minimum:

Length Overall: 70.03m

Breadth Extreme: 13.06m

Depth Moulded: 5.52m

Displacement: 1,140 Tonnes (fully laden)
