The Art Gallery of NSW is a significant cultural institution and a major tourism destination for local, interstate, and international visitors. The Gallery is open to the public 7 days a week. The Gallery is only closed on Christmas Day and Good Friday. The visitation level at the Gallery s original building (South Building) averages around 1.3 million visitors per year. The expansion of the Art Gallery of NSW campus includes the new North Building opened in November 2023 creating a new campus of external and indoor spaces. The expanded campus (North and South building) had 1,945,810 visitors in 2023. This is a slective tender to acquire a new digital preservation system to manage our digital Art collection. The intial contract term will be 12 months plus x2 one year options (3 year term).
