Tender Details
The Department of Industry, Skills and Regional Development is inviting Expressions of Interest for the provision of employment support services under the Refugee Employment Support Program (RESP) in Western Sydney and the Illawarra.
The RESP aims to support up to 6,000 refugees and up to 1,000 asylum seekers by assisting their placement into skilled employment, and linking them to the initiatives which will support these individuals in doing so.
The key objectives of the RESP are to:
• increase the proportion of refugees and asylum seekers who are actively engaged in skilled employment, education or training pathways within the first 18 months of arrival; and
increase the proportion of refugees and asylum seekers achieving sustainable and skilled employment outcomes within four years of arrival.
