Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water / Provision of Fire Tower Observers Blackjack, Talbingo and Ingebyra Fire Towers - tender 1876

Fire Towers are an integral part of bush fire detection and response. This procurement seeks to provide suitably qualified observers for Southern Ranges Branch for the 2018/19 fire season with possible extension options. It is envisaged that the Contract will be in place for a term of 12 months which may be extended for 1 year increments up to an additional 4 years. 

Individuals or companies will indicate their preference for location on tendering.

The contractor(s) will provide a fire tower observer service at Blackjack, Talbingo and Ingebyra Fire Towers to the standard required by OEH.

The contractor(s) will provide fire tower observers with competencies and experience necessary to adequately provide the service required by OEH.

A Tenderer briefing will be held on the date, time, and place, indicated below if required. The contact officer/s of the Agency will be available at that time to answer any queries regarding this RFT and the tender process generally. Names of persons attending the Tenderer briefing must be provided to the contact officer at least three working days prior to the date. No more than 2 persons from each Tenderer will be permitted to attend the Tenderer briefing.
