Request for Proposal – Sale of Heritage Floor Space (HFS) under City of Sydney HFS scheme - RFT-10021501

In January 2019, the City of Sydney registered the award of 12,743.75 square metres of Heritage Floor Space (HFS) for Hyde Park Barracks, Queens Square, Macquarie Street, Sydney (Hyde Park Barracks) to the Historic Houses Trust of NSW trading as Sydney Living Museums (Sydney Living Museums). The HFS scheme is an initiative of the City of Sydney’s Local Environmental Plan 2012 (LEP 2012).

Request for Proposals - An invitation for expressions of interest / seeking preliminary proposals. In many cases these may be used as a basis for shortlisting tenderers, along with other criteria such as expertise and experience. Prospective tenderers are initially evaluated for their proposal against the relevant selection criteria. A number of those who best meet the criteria are invited to tender. For complex or some other types of procurement, where the product or service outcomes are highly dependent on the content of the proposals received from Tenderers, the outcome may be negotiated.

Sydney Living Museums is seeking proposals for the purchase of Hyde Park Barracks Heritage Floor Space from applicants who have a HFS requirement.
