Pole Inspections and Recording - T76-19

Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers for Inspection, Testing, Compiling Data, Labelling of Poles and Recording.  

Council has over 1400 poles (lighting, electric and others) located within parks, reserves, car parks, sports grounds and other facilities that serves the purpose of the assets.

Council intends to maintain a safe environment for the users and the community at large by making sure that:

 

• The poles are structurally safe and stable enough to withstand its own weight and imposed loads including accidental impacts, winds, rain etc.

• The signs of natural decay are identified with details on adverse impacts to the poles, which would lead to ultimate failure of the pole.

  The preventive approach will enable Council to take timely and necessary precautions to manage any risks to public and property.

Open Tenders - An invitation to tender by public advertisement with no restriction placed on who may tender. Tenderers will normally be required to demonstrate in their tender that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience, financial capacity, and in some cases licences, accreditations, etc., to fulfil the tender requirements.
