Tender Details
The Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH) through the Heritage Near Me (HNM) program are delivering the Local Heritage Strategic Projects Incentives program.
The Local Heritage Strategic Projects (LHSP) program will provide support to local communities to enhance and protect their local heritage assets. All projects supported through the Local Heritage Strategic Project program will be developed and implemented in collaboration with the Heritage Near Me team. Applicants for the LHSP are required to submit an Expression of Interest to the HNM program for their project. If the project is assessed to be eligible and meet the priorties outlined in the LHSP guidelines, the HNM team work with the applicant to further scope and design the project.
In some cases, the project design stage involves seeking quotes for works to be completed as part of the proposed project. Once quotes are received and assessed and a project plan is completed it is submitted to review to the LHSP review panel. If the project is assessed to be a priority project at this stage, the project will be implemented as outlined in the project plan, including contracting the recommended supplier from the quotation process.
In this instance, a quotation is sought for a project on the north coast of NSW to engage a museum or cultural planning specialist to develop a plan for a new museum building, including collection care, interpretation and display. The plan will support the Kyogle and District Historical Society into the future by recommending appropriate resources and solutions for the management of the museum.
