Proposed project – Review of Contract 333 Supply of Lease Funding for Fleet for NSW Government.

Industry Engagement – all potential suppliers in the fleet lease funding industry supply chain are welcome to participate, and talk to us. This is not an Expression of Interest or RFx document.

Purpose: Industry Engagement

The purpose of this industry engagement exercise is to:

• develop and maintain an informed understanding of the capabilities of the industry and of the individual suppliers and potential suppliers within that industry

• improve governments understanding of the market and trends to better position future government requirements to the market    

• allow government to become better informed of any risks and issues  

• identify gaps in current provisions where innovation could be stimulated                         

• improve relationships with suppliers allowing the market to better understand government business and business needs   

• contribute to procuring and delivering future project/s that will lead to improved contract outcomes

This industry engagement exercise is an opportunity for lease funding providers to provide input and feedback.  There is no obligation on any party to respond to this Industry Engagement Brief and a non-response will not affect any organization’s future opportunities. Participation is voluntary.

This industry engagement process is not part of any procurement evaluation process. NSW Procurement and the State reserves the right, in their absolute discretion, to suspend or terminate the industry engagement process or to vary the timing, terms and conditions on which it is carried out. Participants in the industry engagement process should not consider that their responses or participation would be in any way used for the purpose of inclusion or evaluation in any future procurement process.

Participation in this industry engagement process does not infer any registration, pre-qualification or any other preferred status in respect of the Project. Any organisation that does not respond to this Industry Engagement Brief will not be prejudiced in any way in respect of any subsequent procurement process in relation to this or any other State Government project. If undertaken, procurement for any lease funding project will follow a structured and transparent process and successful tenderers will be chosen solely on the basis of predetermined selection criteria, uninfluenced by their participation or otherwise in this industry engagement process.

By participating in this industry engagement process, the respondent is deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions as set out in this document. No reimbursement of costs will be paid to persons or organisations participating in the industry engagement process.
