Tender Details

This RFQ follows the successful emergency establishment of Vehicle Sanitisation Stations on a trial basis.

Transport for NSW will establish up to eight Vehicle Sanitisation Stations in the Sydney Metropolitan Area and up to six in regional NSW.

Vehicle Sanitisation Stations are available to eligible Transport vehicles which includes point to point transport - taxis, hire cars including ride share, and Community Transport; and Transport for NSW fleet vehicles.

All Vehicle Sanitisation Stations will operate to the same standard, which includes sanitising specific external and internal surfaces to inactivate COVID-19 without causing damage or discoloration to hard or soft surfaces, within a timeframe. Vehicle sanitisation does not include car washing or cleaning, which remains the responsibility of the driver or fleet coordinator.

Submissions are for the provision of all elements of the Vehicle Sanitisation Station according to the Scope of Work, including a suitable venue with WiFi, resources, products, personal protective equipment, and services. Established venues are preferred. Demonstrated systems are mandatory.

Vehicle Sanitisation Stations are required to collect and transfer data to Transport for NSW using a specified data collection platform.

An essential component of service delivery is the flexibility and scalability of the Service Provider, and their ability to adapt to changes in Service.

Keeping Transport drivers and customers safe, and customer confidence in point to point transport as a safe means of travel, are priorities for Transport for NSW.
