Tender Details

Participants can provide a proposal for one service or a “bundle” of services.

TfNSW seeks to engage service providers for an initial period of four (4) years with discretion to extend the contract for an extension period of  up to an additional four year period (extension period) by using either:

      i. a single extension of three years; and/or

ii.multiple extension periods determined by TfNSW (collectively no longer than 4 years).

The key objectives of the procurement are:

         - Obtain best value for money

         - Encourage efficiencies

         - Provide reliable service

         - Improve service quality.

A) If providing a proposal for an individual route only (i.e. the route is not part of a “bundle proposal”) the information about each individual route should be completed only. All individual route information will be contained and returned in one document.

B) If providing a proposal for a “bundle of routes”, a proposal and information about each individual route must also be provided in the proposal in order for the proponent to be considered on a route by route basis as well. Both the “bundled” proposal and individual routes will be contained and in returned in one document.

Further instructions / information can be found in the instructions sheet within the returnable schedules document.

RFT Type

Request for Proposals - An invitation for expressions of interest / seeking preliminary proposals. In many cases these may be used as a basis for shortlisting tenderers, along with other criteria such as expertise and experience. Prospective tenderers are initially evaluated for their proposal against the relevant selection criteria. A number of those who best meet the criteria are invited to tender. For complex or some other types of procurement, where the product or service outcomes are highly dependent on the content of the proposals received from Tenderers, the outcome may be negotiated.
