The State Library of New South Wales currently implements a Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) system, electronic monitoring and access control system, and an intercom system to monitor, protect and provide surveillance of the Library’s assets and resources.
The Library is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) to procure a contract for the upgrade and ongoing maintenance of its existing CCTV system for the Library’s Mitchell and Macquarie Buildings.

Additional Details / Instructions
The objectives of the CCTV system upgrade are to maximise the life of the system, provide a secure environment by maintaining the integrity of the CCTV system, maximise operational availability, and provide cost efficient and reliable operation.
The scope of the CCTV system upgrade will specifically include the supply, delivery and installation including associated commissioning of new IP digital CCTV cameras and new analytical software with functionality for people counting, intrusion detection, heat mapping, facial recognition, movement / stationary detection, and integration with access control equipment.
In addition, options for a preventative and comprehensive maintenance for a period of three (3) to five (5) years will also form part of the procurement.

Successful Expression of Interest (EOI) participants will be invited to participate in the Request for Tender (RFT) process anticipated to be released in December. Award of the contract is anticipated to be in February 2018.
