Tender Details
This tender calls for Thermal Imaging Cameras to be offered for consideration by FRNSW, that will be utilised by firefighters in assessing areas requiring operational activities including firefighting and search and rescue activities.
It is a requirement of this tender, that any offer to supply Thermal Imaging Cameras must be supported with a Repair Facility arrangement.
It is intended that a maximum of two (2) products will be selected to form a standing offer contract arrangement. This should provide both FRNSW and AFAC organisations with options to select the products to meet their independent operational needs.

Additional Details / Instructions
Tenderers are NOT required to provide a sample before Tender Closure time, however, are to be prepared to provide a fully working Thermal Imaging Camera Kit at any moment after tender closure time. They are expected to await instruction from FRNSW (during the evaluation process), for notification of the products FRNSW wish for a demonstration to be provided.
This demonstration shall be performed by a representative of the Supplier at a FRNSW Training Facility within the Greater Sydney Metropolitan Area, and under controlled environmental conditions.
The Supplier is required to present one (1) complete Thermal Imaging Camera Kit (in a fully charged and ready to use state) for demonstration with FRNSW Instructors. (Refer Part C5 of Tender Response to identify the contents of the required Thermal Imaging Kit to be supplied).
Once the demonstration has completed, the Supplier is required to leave the equipment provided for FRNSW to conduct further testing on site at a later stage.
Once all testing and evaluation process has been completed FRNSW will notify the tenderer and arrange with the tenderer for either the collection or return shipment of samples at the cost of the tenderer.
