Tender Details

The NSW Soil Conservation Service (SCS) have been engaged by Murray Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) to undertake river rehabilitation works along the main Murray River channel and its associated anabranches between Hume Dam and Lake Mulwala to combat the effects of regulated flows from Hume Dam. A large component of this program consists of rehabilitation construction works, predominantly consisting of log and rock revetment. These works commonly occur during ‘low flow’ periods experienced over a 3-4 month window in autumn/winter. Due to this short window of opportunity to successfully undertake rehabilitation construction works it is imperative that the River Murray Works Unit are able to effectively and efficiently engage and utilise several wet hire plant arrangements simultaneously.
