Tender Details
In 2012, the State and Commonwealth Governments launched the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) which is a once in a generation reform that will improve the lives of people with disability in Australia. Through the NDIS, people with disability will be able to access the reasonable and necessary supports they need, to live the life they want and achieve their goals and aspirations.
On 28 April 2016, the NSW Government announced the next phase in NSW’s implementation of the NDIS, being the commencement of the transfer process for the NSW Government’s specialist disability service provision categorised as "Specialist Disability Services" to the non-government sector. As from 1 July 2018, the NSW Government will not provide any residual specialist disability services.
To register your interest in the transfer process please read and follow the instructions carefully, as all interested parties need to be registered to download the Request for Expressions of Interest (REOI).
All questions or clarifications need to be submitted, in writing, to the email box (SpecialistDisabilityServices@facs.nsw.gov.au) no later than 11:00am (Australian Eastern Standard Time) on Friday 17 June 2016.
As this is not a tender the NSW Government may decide whether to consider, accept or reject any REOI that is not received by the closing date and time.
Additional information including clarification questions and answers will be made available as addenda to this REOI on this website. Recipients of the REOI are requested to monitor the website for updated information.
