Sydney Metro City & Southwest – Mechanical Gap Filler and Platform Screen Doors The T3 Bankstown Line is being upgraded and converted to metro operations between Sydenham and Bankstown with all stations to be fully accessible, in accordance with Disability Standard for Accessible Public Transport (DSAPT) guidelines, with lifts and level access between platforms and trains. Platform based Mechanical Gap Fillers (MGFs) are to be used to bridge the gap between the train and platform interface. MGFs are required at curved stations along the Southwest corridor (Bankstown line) to achieve compliance with DSAPT guidelines (which allow a maximum horizontal gap of 40mm and 20mm vertically) and allow unassisted access associated with Grades of Automation 4 (GOA4) automated metro operations. MGFs are expected to be required at Marrickville, Dulwich Hill, Hurlstone Park, Canterbury, Campsie, Belmore, Lakemba and Punchbowl Stations. PSDs (1.7m in height and operating in open air environment) are required at each of the Southwest corridor (Marrickville to Bankstown) stations. The scope of services includes the design, product proving, verification and validation, manufacture, delivery and installation (with optional maintenance) of the MGFs and PSDs to Bankstown Line stations between Marrickville and Bankstown.

Registration Form for Request for Tender (RFT) including statement of no longer than 4 pages and 2. Confidentiality Deed Polls (CDPs) for each person seeking access to the RFT documents. Sydney Metro is restricting access to confidential documents to relevant entities that it reasonably considers at its sole discretion are capable of being bona fide tenderers, whether in joint venture or independently. The documents will be provided in an electronic data room. Entities that are not considered to be relevant entities will not be granted access.
