Tenderer's Site Meeting:
Inspection of the project site will be provided on Friday 2 December 2016 commencing at 10.30am. Tenderers are to contact the Authority's authorised representative Mr Jason Brown on 9959.2631 or Jason.brown@capitalinsight.com.au to confirm attendance and details where to meet for the inspection.
Tenderers' Queries
Query 1.1: With regards to Professional Indemnity & Asbestos Removal Liability is it acceptable for our relevant contractors to hold these policies or as the head contractor would we be required to have internal insurance coverage for this?
Answer: The Head Contractor must have Professional Indemnity and Asbestos Removal Liability Insurance.
Query 1.2:Am I correct in saying there is no mandatory site meeting scheduled and that it is up to individual contractors to co-ordinate
Answer: The site meeting has been scheduled for Friday 2 December 2016 @ 10:30am (this is not mandatory), meeting at Newington Armory - Lodge Entrance Gate – Jaimeson Street. Upon appointment the Main Contractor will co-ordinate any further site meeting requirements.
Tender Addendum NO. 2
Tender Query 2.1: As to the compliance section part J of the BCA relating to buildings fitted with air conditioning, we need to achieve a R3.2 rating. How do you wish to achieve this?
Answer: The required R rating and how it is achieved is outlined within the attached Section J Assessment Report.
Tender Query 2.2: Does the roof void in building 6 have any materials stored within the void?
Answer: No
For Information: Please find attached the revised “Word Version” Tender Schedules (to enable you to complete with your submission) which includes amendments to Section 2, 3, 7 and 14 to detail Part J1 compliance assessment, verandah remediation (as per the engineers design) and additional asbestos requirements.

Conditions for Participation
Tenderers must be certified / licenced for the removal and disposal of Asbestos and able to complete the works in the specified timeframe.
