The Project
The NSW Government is delivering a New Intercity Fleet (NIF) to replace the trains carrying customers from Sydney to the Central Coast, Newcastle, the Blue Mountains and the South Coast.
A number of key infrastructure projects are being delivered by the NIF Infrastructure delivery teams, one of these is the NIF Stations and Signalling Enabling Works (SSEW) project. A key aspect of this project involves enabling Automatic Selective Door Operation (ASDO) on the NIF train through the design, installation, commissioning and integration of Balises and associated infrastructure along the track at all station platforms where the NIF train operates. The project footprint is network wide and much of the construction work is conducted during possessions as well as certain works performed outside of possessions

- TfNSW reserves the right to appoint any or all of these roles through existing government panels or not award all seven (7) roles. TfNSW also reserves the right to award one contract to seven (7) organisations, or seven (7) contracts to one organisation, or any combination.
