Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water / Smoky Cape Lighthouse Keepers' Cottages, Hat Head National Park - EOI_2060

The Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH) is offering an exciting opportunity to lease a unique heritage site situated on the Smoky Cape Headland within Hat Head National Park. This site is wrapped in natural beauty and surrounded by the stunning coastal scenery of the national park.

 

OEH is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from a suitably qualified operator to lease Smoky Cape Lighthouse Keepers' Cottages, a historic heritage lighthouse property and precinct which consists of multiple cottages, ancillary buildings and surrounding land. A partnership arrangement is also being offered for the tours of the Smoky Cape Lighthouse. A five (5) year lease with a five (5) year option is being offered.

 

NSW Regions: Far North Coast, Mid North Coast, New England, Central Coast, Hunter, Cumberland/Prospect, Nepean, Northern Sydney, Inner West, South East Sydney, South West Sydney, Central West, Orana/Far West, Riverina/Murray, Illawarra, Southern Highlands

Request for Proposals - An invitation for expressions of interest / seeking preliminary proposals. In many cases these may be used as a basis for shortlisting tenderers, along with other criteria such as expertise and experience. Prospective tenderers are initially evaluated for their proposal against the relevant selection criteria. A number of those who best meet the criteria are invited to tender. For complex or some other types of procurement, where the product or service outcomes are highly dependent on the content of the proposals received from Tenderers, the outcome may be negotiated.

In order to submit a conforming EOI respondents must undertake an inspection of the premises. An inspection of the premises will be available on 12 November 2018 between 1:00pm and 2:30pm.
