Tender Details
A coastal imagery surveillance system for the next 3 years (with possible 2 year extension) to allow for beach environmental monitoring over a project area from Letitia beach (NSW) through to Kirra beach north (Qld). The purpose of the works are primarily to satisfy a pre-existing approval condition, in relation to the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, at project inception, stakeholder engagement activities and monitor project performance. More specifically, the following deliverables will be derived;
• Regular imagery of Duranbah and southern Gold Coast beaches to capture beach conditions, beach amenity, surf conditions, near-shore bank conditions.
• Beach width measurements from Duranbah to Kirra, based off existing survey information (including transects and beach view plans).
• Regulartime-lapses video imagery to allow for visualisation of changes to coastal conditions over time and morphological evolution
• Regular imagery and data upload to a web-based portal, accessible by the TRESBP team.
