FRNSW is responsible for promoting fire safety and managing fire and rescue emergencies for 90% of the state’s population in major cities, metropolitan areas and towns across rural and regional NSW.

FRNSW caters for such vast coverage by providing specialist firefighting appliances at 338 stations state-wide and employs almost 6,800 firefighters and operational personnel.

FRNSW are seeking a Tender for supply of Utility and CFU Boots for its operational staff.

The Utility Boots are designed to be worn by FRNSW personnel while performing non-operational tasks. These footwears are worn to perform day to day tasks including training, fire appliance checks, equipment checks and station cleaning.

The purpose of the CFU boots is to provide Community Fire Unit volunteers with a safe and effective form of footwear when performing operational and non-operational duties.

Utility Boots and CFU boots can be contracted to one or separate suppliers.

FRNSW has an intention to appoint one supplier to supply all the required deliverables for each type of boot but may make other arrangements for the supply of alternative boots for personnel that are not able to wear the selected product due to anatomical or physical issues.
