The Marine Structures Contract for the Eden Breakwater Wharf Extension Project consists of the extending the structure via a 110m pile and concrete deck wharf, construction of two (2) marine piled berthing dolphins, three (3) marine piled mooring dolphins, and three (3) piled onshore mooring points, as well as the installation of navigation aids and necessary services upgrades.
The Works include the extension of the existing Breakwater Wharf at Eden suitable for the berthing of cruise ships up to 325m in length and includes:
• construction of a 110m steel tubular pile and concrete deck extension to the existing Breakwater Wharf;
• construction of 3 piled offshore mooring dolphins complete with steel topsides;
• construction of 2 piled offshore berthing dolphins complete with steel topsides;
• construction of 3 piled onshore mooring points;
• upgrade to the existing potable water and electrical supplies to service the wharf extension;
• installation of a piled foundation and navigation tower complete with sector light to guide pilots berthing ships at the new facility; and
development of the Principal’s preliminary design for components as necessary to complete the Works.

A pre-tender meeting and site inspection will be held at 10am on Tuesday 2nd May 2017 at the Eden Fishermen’s Recreation Club (Captain’s Table Room) 217 Imlay St, Eden. Attendance at a pre-tender meeting is mandatory to submit a conforming tender, and acceptance of tenders from non-attendees will only be provided under exceptional circumstances.

Conditions for Participation
The NSW Government’s Code of Practice for Procurement (NSW Code) and the NSW Government's Implementation Guidelines to the NSW Code of Practice for Procurement Building and Construction Industry (NSW Guidelines) apply to this project.
The Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work (Building Code) 2016 applies to this project.
The Tenderer must be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme established by the Fair Work (Building Industry) Act (FWBI Act) by the Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner.
