Tender Details
This call for EOI is the first step in a two-stage cabin procurement process. The enquiry will only request and consider particular non-monetary aspects of the application. The second stage of the cabin procurement will be the Request for Tender (RFT). The RFT will be provided to shortlisted candidates based on the results of the EOI evaluation. The intention of the EOI process is to establish a panel of suitable suppliers that are capable of delivering the cabin stock to the volumes and specification required to keep up with park developments state-wide.
CHPT have forecast a requirement for an additional 250+ cabins over three years to meet market demand and implement the full scope of new PoM’s.
The successful panel appointee(s) will be engaged by way of a non-exclusive Head of Agreement which will not guaranteed any volume of work for a panel member. CHPT will reserve the right to determine, at its absolute discretion, any volume of cabin stock orders to the extent allowable by the Agreement. At its discretion, CHPT may refrain from any stock orders from any or all panel suppliers. The method for ordering cabin stock will be finalised at the Tender stage and specified through the Agreement. This will likely be a statement of work, providing the specifications of each cabin stock order.
CHPT wish to ascertain the level of interest and suitability of leading modular building contractors to construct, transport and install cabin stock providing a turn key product over an initial 3-year contract.
The cabin project will initially include 7 different cabins designs which are provided as concept designs in Annexure A. Volumes and timing of cabin stock delivery may vary throughout the engagement due to external influences such as PoM approval processes and market demand.
Myers Ellyett Architects have been responsible for the concept and detailed architectural design of the cabin stock with CHPT providing oversight and strategic direction to ensure cabins are fit for purpose and in line with future strategic direction of the brand. Myers Ellyett Architects will also sit as a subject matter expert through the evaluation process to help ensure CHPT receive value for money in appointing the successful panel of cabin manufactures.
