Flinders Rd Rehabilitation Stage 1- Bangalay St to Glenisia Ave, - T52-20

Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers for the rehabilitation of Flinders Rd from Bangalay St to Glenisia Ave, Georges Hall.

Scope of works generally includes but is not limited to demolition and reconstruction of kerb and gutter sections, footpath panels, kerb ramps, vehicular crossings, traffic islands, stormwater drainage construction and pavement reconstruction, as well as minor line marking.

The site is located in a residential area and the work involves closure of lanes during construction. It is envisaged all works can be carried out during the day. Should night works be required the contractor must ensure jack hammering and other high noise generating works are not performed during late hours of the night due to the vicinity of a residential area. Superintendent approval is required prior to undertaking night works.

Tenderers must make an emphasis on their construction program and work methodology in their submissions.

Full road closure is not permitted unless otherwise directed by the Superintendent. The demolition and reconstruction of new kerb and gutter lines shall be undertaken in stages, i.e. removing of large sections is not permitted.
