The main objective of this RFQ process is for NSW RFS to engage a trusted delivery partner to deliver a system capability and to configure this capability to meet NSW RFS requirements, achieving the following outcomes:
- Provide specific, timely, relevant and accurate advice to citizens based on validated intelligence, including from the community itself, to enable and inform better community responses;
- Integrate and improve the utility of complex data drawn from disparate internal and external sources to provide meaningful insights for decision makers and enable two-way information sharing;
- To better support and equip control-level decision makers by bringing together disparate and new sources of information to reduce intelligence collation timeframes for critical decisions, reduce reliance on reactive decision making and reduce the likelihood of exceeding decision makers' cognitive capacity;
- Configure and implement a fully developed and integrated solution which:
- provides decision makers with the ability to leverage intelligently processed imagery from social media to assist with situational awareness and decision making;
