Tender Details

Wingecarribee Shire Council is seeking experienced earthworks contractors to undertake the construction of road embankments for a future bridge and road at New Berrima. 

The works may include the following: 

  • Screening of material at source;
  • Mixing material to meet specification requirements;
  • Temporary fencing for site security;
  • Tree clearing;
  • Stripping and stockpiling of topsoil;
  • Installation of bridging layer or drainage blanket;
  • Transporting of material to the embankment site;
  • Placing and compaction of material to construct road embankments;
  • Box and pipe culvert construction;
  • Installation of conduits for electrical works.

Conditions for Participation

A Mandatory Tender Briefing / Site Inspection is schedule for Tuesday 11 April 2017.

Please see Volume 1 - Conditions of Tendering for further information.

Failure to attend this briefing/site inspection will leave the Respondent failing to fully comply with the mandatory evaluation criteria. A Respondent may be excluded from the Tender evaluation process without further consideration.

Estimated Timeframe for Delivery

The funding agreement requires Council to commence construction by May 2017.

Council has allowed for a 4 month timeframe for project completion.
