NSW Trade & Investment is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) submissions from interested parties for the development of a 1.398 hectare parcel of land located at the corner of Boughton Ave (Newell Hwy) and Amaroo Drive in Moree.
This EOI is an opportunity for interested parties to submit proposals that will contribute to community development and commercial development in Moree and district.
The land has been identified for development possibilities in recent years. It is likely that the area will be suitable to a range of community development and commercial development opportunities. Where possible, the assessment process will take into account the likelihood of the land being able to accommodate more than one land use proposal.
The option of a lease, and if required an agreement to lease, is available under section 34A of the Crown Lands Act 1989 for a term to be negotiated. Rent will be determined at a commercial market value. Costs of subdivision, plan lodgement, and title creation will be borne by the proponent.
The option to purchase the land, and if required an agreement to purchase, is available under section 34 of the Crown Lands Act 1989. The purchase price will be determined at market value or/ and as negotiated. Costs of subdivision, plan lodgement, and title creation will be borne by the proponent.
A general assessment process will take place following the receipt of submissions. It is anticipated that a preferred proponent or proponents, will be identified with a view to negotiating a Lease Agreement or Sale Agreement.

Each intending Proponent must lodge its EOI via the NSW Trade & Investment electronic tender box at www.tenders.nsw.gov.au before the Closing Time, 2.00pm on Friday 3rd April 2015.
NSW Trade & Investment will not accept late submissions, and its judgment as to the time an EOI has been lodged will be final.
NSW Trade & Investment may, by written notice, extend the Closing Time, in which case, such new Closing Time will apply equitably to all intending Proponents. Lodgement of an EOI by the Closing Time is entirely an intending Proponent's responsibility.
