The NSW Public Service Commission formed the Leadership Academy (The Academy) in 2014 to respond to the need to develop a pipeline of talented leaders to drive and deliver government priorities across the sector.
The Academy has been successful in facilitating high quality, relevant and impactful content to develop leaders who deliver for the citizens of NSW. Leadership Academy alumni are proven high performers and are supporting NSW Government to deliver its commitments.
The expectations of leaders are now greater than ever. New capabilities are required to lead effectively, maintain engagement and deliver the needs of NSW citizens in increasingly complex and rapidly changing environments.
The Academy supports the need for an even higher performing executive, which is required to deliver on government commitments and ensure collaboration across the sector for the benefit of citizens.
The Academy is seeking a first stage Request for Proposal, to:
- encourage innovation and competition in solution offerings;
drive greater cost-effectiveness and value for money, with further reach to a higher proportion of leaders; and
meet the emerging needs of leadership in the public sector to collaborate across the sector and deliver superior outcomes for the citizens of NSW.
