Up to 20 teams (of 1-4 participants) to be offered placement into incubator / mentoring for a maximum of 24 weeks or via a flexible delivery system. The team may start/finish at any time between March 2020 – November 2020. The Incubation stage of the program is focused on providing intensive coaching for teams ready to turn innovative ideas into proven concepts. The key objectives of the incubation program are to get new products and services to market faster, with greater impact and to help drive a new culture of learning and experimentation.
The incubation service will support teams in rapidly developing new ideas and business models for delivering ideas to the market; create evidence of market engagement through rapid testing of concept and present a strong case to transition through to technical development or acceleration. The incubation service will need to provide some core commencement and delivery elements at the GATE premises located in Orange NSW. However ongoing elements may be provided in various locations that were convenient to the provider and participant and enabled via virtual learning. Projects focus may vary from digital applications to engineering, manufacturing and ag-tech focus. Providers should identify if they hold expertise in these areas.
