Call for Expression of Interest for DET Learning Device - 0802123 EOI

The NSW Department of Commerce is coordinating this invitation for expressions of interest on behalf of the NSW Department of Education and Training.

A Tender briefing will be held on Wednesday 10 December, 2008 at 2pm. The location is William Wilkins Gallery, 35 Bridge Street, Sydney, however prospective tenderers will need to pre-register and conditions apply (see Summary files) 

The NSW Department of Education and Training (DET) is seeking vendor partners for its part of the Commonwealth Government's Digital Education Revolution.

This program has the objective of radically increasing the availability of ICT to secondary school students in Years 9 to 12.

The Department seeks to implement the program by:

• providing a powerful, compact learning device to each Year 9-12 NSW public school student

• installing wireless connectivity in all NSW schools with Year 9-12 enrolments to support the students’ use of the learning devices

 This Expression of Interest covers the supply of approximately 200,000 powerful, compact learning devices, together with associated services.

Expression of Interest for Specific Contracts - An invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI) for pre-registration of prospective tenderers for a specific work or service. Applicants are initially evaluated against published selection criteria, and those who best meet the required criteria are invited to Tender (as tender type Pre-Qualified/Invited).
