Provision of Building Cleaning Services - T56-20

Canterbury Bankstown City Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced tenderers for the purposes of ensuring that the nominated Council facilities and buildings are professionally cleaned and hygienic.

The Service Provider is required to undertake the provision of building cleaning services in accordance with Service Specifications and the Tender for all Council buildings and facilities listed or as directed by the Council Representative. The Service Provider must undertake the provision of cleaning services at the buildings and facilities at the frequency listed or as directed by the Council Representatives.

Council may at any time during the term of the Contract decide to alter the frequencies of the cleaning services. Council shall provide reasonable notice to the Service Provider of the required alterations and the Service Provider shall cooperate to alter the cleaning services.

The contract will be on the basis of a schedule of rates, invoiced monthly in arrears. Paper consumables, hand soap and liquid hand wash are provided by Canterbury Bankstown City Council.

A full description of the nature and extent of the services required by Council are set out in Section 3 of this Request.

Tenderers are remined that there is a compulsory breifing on 1st March 2020, 7:00 AM at Canterybury-Bankstown Council - Works Depot, 35 Leslie Street, Roselands.

Council will not consider a Tender lodged by a Tenderer who fails to sign the attendance sheet at this briefing, or fails to ensure that a representative of the Tenderer signs the attendance sheet on its behalf.

In the event that Council deems, at its sole discretion, that an insufficient number of potential Tenderers have attended the site meeting to result in a competitive tender, Council reserves the right to open the tender process to any Tenderer and waive the compulsory briefing requirement.
