Scheme Details

Land and Housing Corporation are seeking Residential Builders that are approved on the Whole-of-Government (WoG) Prequalification Scheme (SCM0256 or SCM1461), and can provide Residential Building Works up to $1M, and over $1M, to pre-qualify on their panel of approved suppliers.

If you wish to be part of both panels for works up to $1M, and over $1M, you will need to submit two applications into this scheme.

Vendor Instruction

Applicants must complete the questionnaire and provide the following information with their application:

  • Builders Licence
  • Details of Financial Capacity
  • Proof of Insurance
  • Evidence of QMS or ISO Certification (for works above $1m).
  • WHS Certification (for works above $1m).

It is recommended for applicants to read the Scheme Documents before commencing their application.

Capabilities

The Applicant must identify its areas of substantial expertise by nominating the categories in which it is seeking prequalification.

Residential Building Works
  • R1. New Construction Projects
    Any work that is residential building work under the Home Building Act 1989 which involves the new construction of a dwelling.
  • R2. Building Upgrade Projects
    Any work that is residential building work under the Home Building Act 1989 which involves building upgrades of a dwelling, or alterations or additions to a dwelling. It also includes repairing, renovating, decorating or applying protective treatment.

NSW Government agencies are required to assess a contractor's financial capacity at the time of engagement or tendering, and their ongoing ability to deliver the contracted works throughout the contract period.

    To approved vendors,

    Changes have been made to the panel questionnaire. All approved vendors will need to update their application online and resubmit updated responses by the end of January 2019, for the following sections:

    Residential Builders Licence (for both value panels)

    Provide your Builders Licence number, a specific scanned copy of the Builders Licence or Fair Trading proof of issue, and include the licence expiry date.

    QMS and WHS certification (for works above $1M)

    Specify te expiration dates of the certificates for QMS and WHS. 

    EMS certification (for works above $1M)

    Although it is not mandatory to provide EMS certification. If you have attached a copy with your application, please specify the expiration date of the EMS certification.

    Capabilities

    We are requesting that all applicants nominate in either categories, New Construction Projects, Building Upgrade Projects or both, as per the details provided from the experience template.

    If you are approved for both panels (works above $1M and over $1M), you will need to resubmit two applications online.

    1.  Log in to www.tenders.nsw.gov.au

    2.  Select your name at the top right hand corner.

    3.  Select ‘Scheme Applications’

    4.  Locate your successful application for the Residential building works panel and select ,’View/Modify application.’

    5.  Select the option at the right corner, ‘Edit application.’

    6.  You will then be able to edit your application at sections 4. Questionnaire and 5. Capabilities.

    7.  Progress your application to step 6. Review and submit the updated application. (New files such as evidence of licence must be renamed).
