Central Coast Council / Design and Construction of a Community Recycling Centre at Council's Buttonderry Waste Management Facility - CPA/1240

The Contract comprises of the design and construction of a Community Recycling Centre which will serve as a drop off area for household problem wastes located at Council’s Buttonderry Waste Management Facility.  Wastes for drop-off include paint (oil and water based), oil (motor and other oil), gas cylinders, fire extinguishers, batteries (household, car and lead acid), fluorescent tubes (including CFLs and incandescent bulbs) and smoke detectors.

Full details of the scope of work and any exclusions are included in the attached Specification (Attachment 1).

A mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held at the Buttonderry Waste Management Facility Administration building, commencing at 10am Thursday 30^th November 2017.

Attendance at the pre-tender meeting is a prerequisite condition to the submission of a Tender for the Contract.  A tender submitted by a Tenderer who has not attended the pre-tender meeting will not be considered.

This is a lump sum contract based on AS4902-2000 General Conditions of Contract.  The contract period is 32 weeks from the date of the Letter of Acceptance of the Tender.

The tendered lump sum must include all costs necessary to provide the works under the Contract, including without limitation the cost of all personnel, materials, plant and equipment, fuel, consumables, mobilisation, demobilisation, support systems, overheads, profit, traveling time, expenses, disbursements, fees and charges and all other associated costs.

The fee and rates are fixed and not subject to escalation or review.

Council is seeking to use this Request for Tender as a basis for entering into a Contract with the Preferred Tenderer.
