Tender Details

The NSW Department of Education is seeking expressions of interest to partner with our Nanga Mai Awards – a celebration of innovation, excellence and achievement in Aboriginal education within NSW public schools and school communities.

The awards are held annually and attended by the NSW Department of Education senior executive team including the Secretary, Deputy Secretaries and Executive Directors from around the state.

The awards are supported by the NSW Aboriginal Education Consultative Group Inc. and the Aboriginal Education Council, and organised by the Department’s Aboriginal Education and Communities Directorate.

The Nanga Mai Awards support and align with the Plan for NSW Public Education, Aboriginal Education Policy, the NSW Department of Education and NSW AECG Inc. 'Walking Together, Working Together' Partnership Agreement, the Connected Communities Strategy and Closing the Gap strategy.

Conditions for Participation

- Successful respondents to the EOI will be required to countersign a Sponsorship Agreement subject to: Commercial Arrangements, Sponsorship and Donations Policy and Procedures (https://education.nsw.gov.au/policy-library/policies/pd-2009-0399)

- The department may decline products and devices if they present on-costs (for example in set up, maintenance and technical support) that the department (through its ITD directorate) is unable to support.
