Department of Education / Extended Induction Program for Newly-Appointed School Leaders - DoE1557197774

The NSW Department of Education (the department) is seeking to engage experts for three extended induction initiatives for newly-appointed school leaders. These three initiatives are:

1. Professional learning for leading teaching and learning – instructional leadership
2. Developing soft skills for leadership – personal attributes for effective leadership
3. Developing soft skills for leadership – mindfulness for leaders

The objective is to seek providers that have the capability to deliver the best overall solution for each initiative or combination of initiatives, in terms of quality outcomes and price, within the nominated timeframe.

Expression of Interest for Specific Contracts - An invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI) for pre-registration of prospective tenderers for a specific work or service. Applicants are initially evaluated against published selection criteria, and those who best meet the required criteria are invited to Tender (as tender type Pre-Qualified/Invited).

The EOI documents are available below from 13 December 2018 and applications will close on 4 February 2019 at 10:00am.

Please note that from Friday 21 December 2018 until Sunday 6 January 2019, the Department will not be monitoring this EOI due to end of year shutdown. All queries will be responded to from the 7 January 2019.  

The Program to be provided by the successful tenderer(s) comprises of three (3) separate Streams or Service Components:

(i)Package 1 – Successful Extended Leadership Induction Program for:

a.Principals, 

b.Deputy Principals

c.Assistant Principals/Head Teachers.

(ii)Package 2 – Developing Soft Skills for Effective Leadership – Personal Attributes for all school leaders; and

(iii)Package 3 – Developing Soft Skills for Effective Leadership – Mindfulness for all school leaders.

The Department will be evaluating each package separately and therefore is seeking separate responses for each individual package. 

Respondents are able to bid for one, two or all three packages.
