The NSW Department of Education is seeking tenders from interested parties for the provision of:

• Audio Production Services;
• Lighting Production Services; and
• Audio Visual Production Services.

for the 2019 to 2022 Schools Spectacular arena productions. With an option to extend this Contract for another 2 one year periods (1+1) depending on performance, need and funding availability. 

Background

The NSW Department of Education’s Schools Spectacular is a high profile Performing Arts arena event involving the participation of over 5,500 public school children and young people. The Schools Spectacular will be celebrating its 36th year of production.

The annual two day event will be staged at Qudos Bank Arena. It comprises Friday and Saturday matinee and evening performances, attracts arena audiences of approximately 30,000 people and is recorded for a televised broadcast nationally. The essence of the School Spectacular television program is to capture the live performance show so that the messages of each act and the talents of all of the participants are conveyed across our television screens and portrays the values of public education.

It is expected that one supplier for each production service will be awarded based on a value-for-money solution. If appropriate one supplier may be awarded multiple contracts. 

The successful supplier/s are required to engage personnel with relevant levels of experience and qualifications as set out in the scope for the provision of services for the Schools Spectacular Arena Event.

It has come to our attention that a number of the original tender documents were corrupted during the upload process to the NSW eTendering. As a result, Addendum 1 has been released with the following Addendum and zip packages:

This Request for Tender contains three Packages of Production Services for the School Spectacular.
