The NSW Ministry of Health has identified an opportunity to significantly reduce NSW Health’s overall spend on electricity, by facilitating a process to enable Local Health Districts (LHDs) to implement large-scale solar PV installations at their largest energy consuming sites. The objectives of this program are to achieve significant operational savings which can be put back into frontline service delivery, reduce reliance on grid electricity, comply with government policy obligations, contribute to NSW Health’s energy reduction targets and demonstrate commitment to energy efficiency.
