NSW Health / Transcription Services - HSSP_HC18_2002

NSW Health  is seeking a panel of external service providers to provide transcription services for all Eligible Customers  for the transcription workload above internal transcription capacity. 

The successful panel providers will be expected to adhere to the strict NSW Privacy Legislation for the entire contract period and beyond.

In accordance with Section 10 of this RFT NSW Privacy Legislation; " the Service Provider must sign two Privacy Agreements at the commencement of the contract (see document C2002 Appendix 2_Privacy Agreement_External Contractor.pdf) and will abide by all of the provisions of the Agreements. One privacy contract references the Health Records and Information Privacy Act (2002) (see document  C2002 Appendix 4_Health Records and Information Privacy Act.pdf) and the second privacy agreement references the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act (1998) (see document C2002  Appendix 3_Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act .pdf)”.

 

Some Eligible Customer's in house transcriptionists may transcribe dictated work from the integrated software solution up to the capacity of their workforce at any given time.   

The remainder of the dictated work is the “overflow” to be transcribed by the vendor. The "overflow"  is the majority of the these Eligible Customer's workload however, it cannot be definitively itemised and will vary depending on workforce variations. It is estimated that the annual total number of dictations per year may be in the vicinity of 670,000 or 56,000 transactions per month.  This is an estimate only and cannot be relied upon for the purposes of tendering.
