Tender Details

NDIS and Mental Health Communities of Practice project (CoP Project)

Within the NDIS trial site in the Hunter (during 2013-2016), an NDIS and Mental Health Community of Practice (CoP) was established. CoP activities were acknowledged as being invaluable for maximising opportunities and reducing challenges associated with the introduction of the NDIS.

With this in mind, the CoP Project will build the capacity of, and strengthen collaboration and networking between CoP participants in local communities to enhance outcomes for people with psychosocial disability under the NDIS.

The CoP Project will develop organised NDIS and mental health information sharing communities across NSW with the key deliverable for this project being to create multiple, sustainable communities of practice (up to 15), which are consistent with the overall vision of the CoP Project.
