In March 2015, the New South Wales Government announced a $30 million redevelopment of the Broken Hill Health Service. The Government indicated that the redevelopment will entail upgrading hospital buildings and relocation of dental services from a local school into a new specialist five-chair facility.The current project scope is:
- New build Community Health Centre and 88 person office on 270 Crystal Street
- Demolition of 1800 and 1900 Kincumber House
- Reconfiguration of the Ambulatory Care Wing at Broken Hill Base Hospital

HI draws to your attention the obligations in relation to the Implementation Guidelines to the New South Wales Code of Practice for Procurement: Building and Construction Industry (the Guidelines) that commenced on 1 July 2013, and are applicable to projects of $10 million and above.
