The NSW Ministry of Health (MOH) is seeking a qualified Registered Training Organisation (RTO) to:
· Revise the existing ORTHN Health Worker Training Program (including training slide deck, Training & Credentialing Framework, and assessment methodology and tools) to ensure it satisfies best practice standards in training and assessment;
· Deliver the revised ORTHN training, assessment and credentialing (including all administrative aspects), face to face, to up to 60 NGO services across NSW, over 12 months. We anticipate approximately 6-8 workers per service to attend the training.
The RTO must demonstrate extensive experience developing, delivering and assessing AOD or health related training. Trainers should have health service expertise and/or appropriate clinical qualifications. Experience working with the NGO sector is desirable. The RTO will have the ability to work in consultation with MOH staff and management, and other relevant stakeholders, to revise and deliver the training.
