Tender Details
CSNSW is seeking registered psychologists with demonstrated expertise to complete risk of reoffending assessments and/or deliver treatment programs to sex offenders in custody on behalf of the organisation.
The risk assessments endorsed for use by CSNSW are the STATIC-99R and the STABLE-2007. CSNSW requires the completion of approximately 300 STATIC-99R and 600 STABLE-2007 assessments over the contract period of 12 months.
The STATIC-99R may be completed remotely by desktop review of relevant material provided by CSNSW. A small number of STATIC-99R assessments may involve a face-to-face interview, held in a custodial location (listed below). All STABLE-2007 assessments require an interview with the offender in one of the following custodial locations:
• Long Bay Correctional Centre
• Metropolitan Remand and Reception Centre (Silverwater)
• Windsor Complex
• Kirkconnell Correctional Centre
• Hunter Correctional Centre (Cessnock)
If tendering to provide the risk assessments, tenderers must be able to complete both the STATIC-99R (desktop) and the STABLE-2007 in all locations listed.
The programs requirement is the delivery of five (5) custody-based moderate intensity Sex Offender Programs over the contract period of 12 months. The programs could be delivered in the following locations:
• Long Bay Correctional Centre
• Kirkconnell Correctional Centre
• Hunter Correctional Centre (Cessnock).
The tenderer should indicate which of these locations (if not all) they would be able to deliver programs at.
