Tender Details

Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) invites tenders from the not-for-profit sector, for the provision of two services to assist offender with specific transitional needs:

  1. A transitional supported accommodation service to support higher risk parolees under the supervision of CSNSW in the community in the Hunter / Central Coast and Wollongong areas.  The service(s) will be provided to each client for up to 12 weeks.
  2.  A Mentoring Service that uses volunteers to assist in the transition from custody to community and to enhance community engagement, for:

a. Inmates in custody to access pre release external leave programs before they are released.  Pre release support will target correctional centres which are primarily located in the Hunter / Greater Western Sydney and South Coast areas; and

b. Offenders post release who are initially under CSNSW supervision in the community and are primarily located in Hunter / Greater Western Sydney and South Coast areas and possibly throughout NSW.

Service provision requires a high level of collaboration between CSNSW and the service provider.

An innovative approach to service development and delivery is encouraged.

CSNSW is prepared to engage a single supplier to provide each or both services.  The supplier may be a partnership or consortium and CSNSW encourages the formation of such arrangements to meet its needs
