Parklea CC is a variable security correctional centre presently housing 893 long and short term remand, sentenced and protection inmates and 80 minimum security inmates.
Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) aims to achieve the following key objectives through retendering the Management Services for Parklea CC:
- maximise service outcomes, including monitoring and continous improvement of performance;
- deliver value for money through competition and innovation; and
- increase accountability in the delivery of services;
CSNSW is seeking to enter into a Management Agreement with a suitability qualified entity for the provision of Management Services for Parklea CC. The initial term of the Management Agreement will be a period of seven years commencing at the start of the Operations Phase (which follows an initial Transition Phase). This may be followed by one extention term of up to five years.
The types of services to be provided as part of the Management Services for Parklea CC include:
- accommodation and custodial services;
- programs and industries;
- health services;
- transport and escort services to and from funerals, healthcare facilities and other approved releases; and
- facilities and asset management.

Attending the Non-Mandatory Industry Briefing
CSNSW will be holding a non-mandatory Industry Briefing and will be issuing a Call for Expressions of Interest for suitably qualified entities to undertake Management Services for the Parklea Correctional Centre.
The Industry Briefing will be held at 10am on 19 Octover 2017 at Rooms 3,4 and 5 of the Henry Deane Building, 20 Lee Street, Sydney.
Parties interested in attending the Industry Briefing must pre-register by completing the attached form titled "Pre-Registration for Attendance at Management Services for Parklea Correctional Centre Industry Briefing". The completed form should be emailed to parklea@au.ey.com by close of business on 17 October 2017.
Seats at the Industry Briefing will be limited. It is preferred that each party sends no more than three (3) individuals.
