Tender Details

This Contract is for the provision of geotechnical investigations for the Rankin Park to Jesmond project. Additional geotechnical investigations are required to further progress the project design. The Contract will be procured via a selected invitation tender (only those directly invited may obtain a copy of the Request for Tenders).

This project is the fifth section of the Newcastle Inner City Bypass. The 3.4 km bypass is proposed to be built between Rankin Park and Jesmond, to the west of the John Hunter Hospital. The project aims to provide traffic relief to the surrounding road network.

All tenderers must comply with the NSW Government's Code of Practice for Procurement. 

This phase of the project is funded by the NSW State Government. 

Further information regarding the work and the Request for Tender documents will be available for electronic download on the eTendering website https://tenders.nsw.gov.au/rms for directly invited tenderers only. A pass code will be sent by email to the invited tenderers.

A pretender meeting will be held 9:30 am, Tuesday 30 January at the Roads and Maritime Newcastle office. Attendance at this meeting is mandatory to submit a conforming tender.

Tenders close 2:30pm, Wednesday 14 February. Tenders are to be lodged online via the eTendering website.
