Transport for NSW (Transport Infrastructure Projects) / Approved Boat Driving Licence Training Provider Scheme - RMS 2019/001

Applicants for a general boat licence are required to undertake practical boating experience. This experience may be carried out by completing practical boat driving licence training with an Approved Boat Driving Licence Training Provider (Approved Provider).

To become an Approved Provider, a training organisation must have an agreement with Roads and Maritime Services to provide practical boat driving licence training. 

An Approved Provider will also be able to offer the knowledge testing component of a general boat and personal watercraft (PWC) licence.
