Ross Street new Traffic Signal Upgrade and associated widening of SH5 Great Western Highway between Ross Street and Hare Street, Glenbrook.

This is a Quality Assurance contract.

Tenders are invited from contractors pre-qualified at Roadworks Class R2, and Financial Level F5 or higher. As part of the works the Contractor must also engage Accredited Service Providers for Sydney Water and Endeavour Energy (Street lighting) service re-location works.

This is a joint Federal and State funded project.

The work under the contract involves the upgrade of Ross Street intersection with Great Western Highway (GWH) with new traffic signals, widening of Great Western Highway between Ross Street and Hare Street and modification to the existing traffic signals at Hare Street. The proposed scope includes; minor earthworks, re-location of a section of 200 mm dia. Water Main, grout-filling of disused watermain, re-location of street lights, construction of new pavements and existing pavement rehabilitation works, under-bores across GWH and Hare Street, minor stormwater drainage adjustment works, construction of medians and footpaths, kerb & gutter, signage and line-marking.

A pre-tender meeting, including a site inspection, will be held at 10.30 am on Wednesday 29 November 2017, at Glenbrook Panther’s Bowling Club, 1 Hare Street, Glenbrook NSW 2773. (Small Meeting Room – Please limit the number of participants to two). Attendance is mandatory to submit a conforming tender.
