Applications for Registrations of Interest (ROI) are invited from contractors who are on both the Roads and Maritime Services F150 PLUS (Financial) and B4 (Bridgeworks) Register of Prequalified Contractors to undertake the design and construction of Bridge over the Clarence River at Harwood in the Pacific Highway Upgrade from Woolgoolga to Ballina.
This is a joint Federal and State funded project.
The project involves detailed design and construction of an approximately 1.3km long four lane bridge. Key performance requirements include environmental sustainability, aesthetically pleasing structure, navigational clearance for marine vessels and associated safety and structural design considerations against potential ship impacts on bridge structures.
A shortlist of applicants will be selected and invited to submit tenders for the design and construction of the project.
Applicants must comply with theNSW Government's Code of Practice for Procurement (NSW Code) and the NSW Government's Implementation Guidelines to the NSW Code of Practice for Procurement for: Building and Construction Industry (NSW Guidelines).
It is a requirement of this project that the successful contractor be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme (the Scheme) at the time of entering into the contract for the contract work and while the contract work is being carried out. Information on the Scheme is available on the Australian Government website at www.fsc.gov.au
